I would be happy to support you! We build them in the style and with respect for the indigenous tribes of North America.
The self-made drum is a powerful personal instrument and a magical companion for rituals and inner journeys through the various veils of our consciousness. These trance experiences can be sources of strength, inspiration and connection.
We can express our very own rhythm with our drum and connect with the pulse of the earth and the rhythms of nature.
When we drum with the forces of nature, we connect with the entire universe. When we drum with other people, no matter how near or far, we strengthen our power and reconnect with the greater whole.

Hohenbüssow is a small village in the vast landscape of the Tollensetal valley, south-east of Demmin. Hohenbüssow brings a lot of things together: The connection with nature and the original village life. The hilly landscape with the nearby beech forest invites you to go for a walk and if you walk a little further, you can take a refreshing dip in the Tollense.
It's a good place where you can immerse yourself in nature and relax. Away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, you will find the leisure and the spirit to create your ritual drum in the pristine natural surroundings.

Arrival and camp set-up is possible beforehand.
Costs
Material costs approx. 180,- € (may vary slightly depending on the economic market) and depending on the size of the drum and choice of animal skin.
Seminar costs 430,- €
Accommodation
It is advisable to stay overnight on the site in the large garden or in accommodation nearby. In the garden there is the possibility to stay in your own tent, caravan or mobile home for 10,- € per person per night.

Catering
Everyone brings what they want to eat during the day. The participants often use this to create a buffet together. In the evening we offer a cooked vegetarian dinner for 14,- € per meal including all drinks for the whole day (coffee, oat and milk, tea..).
Procedure
For four days we will form a small tribe. In addition to the manual work, we will incorporate the shamanic world view, the knowledge of the forces of the four cardinal points, based on the European life compass.
After a ritual walk in nature, you will know which animal skin your drum will be made from. You will choose from cow, horse, wild boar or deer skins that have been naturally dehaired and then grind and oil your suitable frame size.
Then a day is spent building until all the hides are stretched onto frames.
Over the next few days, the rawhide drums dry and we have time to get to know different playing techniques and trance drumming.
We will carve our own clappers and discuss ritual practice. This includes everything from the framework of a ritual to the incense of plants and their different effects and applications.
It is summer and we will enjoy the wonderful meadow and forest landscape in Hohenbüssow and keep drumming.
On the last day we will dedicate our drum together. It is its initiation - and birth.
I will build different sizes of frame drums with you, right up to the powwow drum - mother drum, as it is sometimes called.
