This major and minor scale template was developed to tune a pentatonic scale with the help of 5 single bridges on the Monolina. By turning the template over, the position of the single bridges is changed to major or minor. The newly developed version of this template has a notch. This allows it to be clamped under the strings.

Procedure:

• Fold over
• Push it under the strings and then up to the peg bar
• Place the single bridges in the places provided (arrows)
• Select the tuning of the Monochord in the column
• Tune the strings to the tones indicated in this column

Experienced players can also set any position and thus also other tunings. Even while playing, the skilled player can adjust the single bridges.
