These mighty tubes open up another level of sound work. By striking the end of the tube several times, a particularly large and wide sound field is built up, with frequencies ranging from under 20 Hz (infra frequencies) to several thousand Hz (overtones). With this set a room height of at least 3.2 m is required.
This sound field can be experienced intensively through the long reverberation of the tubes (20 - 30 minutes), without new impulses (renewed striking). Our senses experience the effects intensively on a physical, emotional and mental level.
In contrast to other Sound Massage Instruments, whose effects are more specific in one area, the Tubular Gongs have a strong harmonizing effect on the whole energy field (aura) and influence a harmonious energy flow in the whole body (measurable e.g. in the meridians).
The Tubular Gongs are made of a special brass alloy. After precise tuning to the keynote by our long-time friend and master of his guild, Wolfgang Deinert, they get elaborately hand polished that enlarges the surface of the material and thus enhances the brilliance of the sound. Tubular Gongs can be tuned to any keynote and are suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
Outdoors, they will gradually dull in color naturally, but the sound will remain the same. Be careful when touching them with a bare hand. The natural grease of the hand will cause the metal to turn an unsightly black color after a short time. So cover your hands or use a dry cloth cloth to touch it. After hanging for a longer period of time, they will turn golden and become more beautiful in colour.
