Why the Octav-Monochord-Table?
We have been consistently developing our Octav-Monochord-Table, which we have been offering in its current design since 2015 and which has been tried and tested many times over, for 10 years. Through intensive consultation and collaboration with our instructor Martina Gläser-Böhme, who massages clients on our Octac-Monochord-Table almost every day, we have created an instrument that stands out in terms of sound, shape and functionality: a design has been created that gently beds your clients in a slightly curved shell.
The body weight has no influence on the tuning, as our sound table is built in such a way that the monochord area is decoupled. The soundboard is curved in two directions, as is usual with good stringed instruments, which favours the fullness and resonance of the monochord sound.
Our Octav-Monochord-Table has a total of 60 strings: 30 bare overtone strings in d and 15 wound bass strings in D on either side. The tone D has a particularly calming and harmonious effect due to its rich depth. By simply stroking the strings, the intuitive instrument produces music rich in overtones, which leads the customer into a state of deep relaxation.
The instrument can be turned on its axis by loosening four screws. This makes tuning easier.
Our Octave-Monochord-Table is the finest feeltone craftsmanship made from high-quality materials, lovingly crafted from the plank to the strings in north-east Germany, on the beautiful Baltic Sea, and shipped all over the world.

Hazard warning:
When turning around the lying surface, please empty the tray first and
then take care not to pinch your fingers. Be careful when getting off
the table and offer help until the client is standing upright. After
longer treatments, the circulation can be unstable.
The strings can break, especially if they are overstretched, and you can injure yourself on the loose ends of the strings.
