The Kigonki is a metal slotted drum (also called tank drum or metal slotted drum). The model Lulu is a medium hand pan with 8 finely tuned notes on the top and the same notes repeated on the back. These are not played, but open up a much larger space (reverberation) as resonant tones. This melodic percussion instrument, which is as percussively playable as it is meditatively resonant, has a beautifully lacquered and unique surface. It is as much a joy to play with your hands as it is to play with the included sticks. Only the top is usually played, the notes on the bottom are infected in vibrating and sounding from the top notes. With the attached sturdy rope, it can be transported in the room and swung after the stop, or hung in a stand. With three feet on the bottom, it can also be played on a table.

Instruments that are custom made have about 30-45 days delivery time. Color requests are approximate, creative freedom is left to the artists. Each Kigonki is unique!

Optional tuning in 432 Hz is possible if you already have other instrument with the pitch of the earth day. Unless otherwise stated, we assume the international standard tuning in 440 Hz. This tuning we recommend if you want to play together with other pre-tuned instruments.
