The Tinka Tong comes with a mallet and can be played by hand as well as with the fingers or the mallet. Please note that only short mallets should be used to avoid the risk of breakage. With the mallet you can dribble, bounce and twirl on the Tinka Tong to create fascinating soundscapes or one hand can hold the mallet while the other hand plays without the mallet.
Elemental Soundscapes - more than a set of sound instruments
Our Elemental Soundscapes are not just sets of sound instruments, but a unique concept in cooperation with several European instrument makers and our US partner "We play well together". Together with them, we at feeltone have set ourselves a goal: to bring together intuitively playable instruments in such a way that they sound good together even without long trial and error or knowledge of sheet music.
Each instrument set is coordinated with one another and goes particularly well with a specific feeltone monochord. "Terra" matches our monochords in the tuning C and F.

drum. By sitting on the tongues of the drums or by hitting or wedging
objects too hard in the openings between the tongues, tongues can break or
splinter and splinters can be drawn in or cut at these points. Splinters
on the instrument must be removed immediately. The mallets can be
mistaken for lollipops and should not be put in the mouth by children.
Avoid inserting objects into the opening on the underside, as this can
lead to jamming.
