BASS FLUTES

In different tunings and wood typs

Bass flutes are particularly suitable for the accompaniment of higher melody instruments.

In order to play them, you need a little more breathing volume, and because their holes are larger and the hole distances are wider, you need a little more practice to play them - small hands are something of a disadvantage.

The two flutes "Condor Bass in E" and "Condor Bass in D" (regardless of the type of wood) represent the transition to the bass-flute range. Thus they are a popular compromise between bass and melody and can still be recommended to small hands.
