Get to know the fascinating soundscapes of a monochord. Experience a feel-good day with intense, perhaps completely new sound experiences. Let yourself be enchanted and inspired by the fascination of the monochord.
A sound box made of fine wood makes 34 strings resound, tuned to one note. And yet a sea is born of tones and overtones, in perfect harmony. The result is a spherical sound that is deeply moving and relaxing.
For a first contact with the sound worlds of the monochords, we offer a feel-good day to get to know the instruments:
- We will introduce you to monochords and let you hear them in all their diversity.
- A feel-good sound journey invites you to rest and relax.
- In the sound meditation, we gain distance from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and can come completely to ourselves.
- We open a door into the world of spherical sounds and convey in an easy way how and why these sounds give us such a feeling of well-being and inner peace.
- If you wish, you can try out playing yourself. We will show you how you can easily begin to create fascinating sounds on the monochord.
Where and when is the Fascination Monochord currently available?
There are now several places in Germany where you can discover and feel the fascination of the monochord. We will continue to offer new feel-good days and will announce the dates here as soon as they are known.
