Basic Seminar 1 "Secret Monochord"

The basic seminar is part 1 of the training in feeltone sound massage and marks the introduction to monochord playing. You will learn how to play the monochord and find out how the spherical sounds enchant us and can be used for healing. You can book our basic seminar "Secret Monochord" at several locations in Germany and worldwide.

You will learn

different playing techniques
to play the oceanic spherical sounds in a meditative or musically expressive way
how to tune a monochord
how to rewind a string
an introduction to sound meditation and contraindications
practical exercises including different playing parameters
get to know different monochords and sound furniture

In addition

You will learn interesting facts about overtones and principles of action that make it possible to experience a new world of music of the spheres.

In these seminars you can try out different tunings on the monolina and choose your personal instrument.

"Secret Monochord" enables you to play the monochord for personal use, for relaxing, meditating, making music, singing and storytelling. If you would like to go even further or incorporate the monochord and its healing effects into your everyday professional life, you can learn this in further training blocks.

Prerequisites

No previous musical knowledge is necessary. All seminars are an enrichment and a discovery at the same time, from music laymen to musicians. They awaken the joy of playing, musical expression, give silence and inner peace.

The training takes place at feeltone Seminarhaus, Am Mühlenbach 3, 17438 Wolgast - OT Hohendorf. (Please note that the outdated address is still listed on Google.)

Other venues for our basic seminar in Germany are Parin, Maintal, and Worpswede near Bremen, Baierbrunn near Munich and Rullstorf near Lüneburg.

The seminar comprises 20 lessons and is held on the following days:

Thu. 19:00-21:00
Fri. 9:30-21:00
Sat. 9:30-18:30
Sun. 9:30-14:00

Number of participants

We keep the groups small to ensure intensive work. No more than 8 people.

Price

The prices vary for the different venues. Take a look at the calendar overview.
The training blocks from basic seminar l to advanced seminar lV cost € 570.00 incl. VAT from the founder of the feeltone sound massage and sound therapy method Martina Gläser-Böhme and are payable before each course or as a total amount.

Instruments

A „Monolina“, a monochord in different tunings, is available for all participants. This gives you the opportunity to try out different basic tunings and feel which tone appeals to and supports you personally. If you would like to purchase a monochord of your choice, you can do so directly at feeltone.

Catering

Catering will be organized at the respective locations and the lecturers will inform you about this in the registration confirmation.

Overnight stay

For Overnight accommodation is available from the respective lecturers.

During a seminar at the feeltone seminar house Mühle Hohendorf, you can book our vacation apartment directly in the house at www.muehle-hohendorf.de, or set up your camper or a tent on the property. Tip

Studying in our vast, tranquil coastal landscape is often experienced as a little break. It's worth planning a few extra vacation days.

After completing the basic seminar, you can apply your knowledge and playful skills in private circles or in sound meditations. If you would like to use sound in your therapeutic work or as part of your career, we recommend training as a sound practitioner in “feeltone sound massage & sound therapy” with three further advanced courses.
